I'm horribly confused

I think someone else may have posted this in their LJ recently, but I'm watching Upgrades on the Monday Night Marathon and I thought I had figured out where Jack and Sam went at the end, but now I have no clue. I thought maybe they went to go do something with the timers - delay them maybe since they couldn't run as fast anymore. But then when Sam gets up to leave, she makes a grab for the naquada pack that Daniel had been carrying that they left behind. So did they just run around in a big circle for the fun of it or something? I confuzzled..........

Actually she picks up her wrist thingie in Divide and Conquer she also says naquadah but again naquadah is no where near them no one took it with them; tealc and daniel left it and sam and jack went another way.

When they are running around they have no nequadah near them; its the wristband she goes for but always confused when she calls it naquadah cause then she just leaves it.

IIRC, when Daniel passes out, Carter and O'Neill take the naquadah from him. Some Jaffa show up and Teal'c arrives and zats a couple of them. Carter and O'Neill go off to deal with the rest of the Jaffa. Teal'c helps Daniel to the exit. Carter and O'Neill lose their armbands and Carter tries to pick up the bag with the naquadah in it when the shield goes down but O'Neill tells her to leave it.

You have to rewatch the scene again cause Daniel had the naquadah in his back pack which stayed on the floor; jack and sam are running around the facility with no packpack or carrying nothing in hand.

Then watch when they finally start wakeing up; carter tosses her armband against the wall but in the scene hers is near her and jacks is against the wall. For some reason in all the stories the armbands get called naquadah and the naquadah wasn't needed to blow up the ship the bombs were set around already.

I think they needed to split everyone up or Divide and Conquer wouldn't work. Jack wouldn't leave sam; I wonder if in the script they are suppost to be carrying naquadah just it never gets used in screen.

Yeah, I didn't watch it last night, so I was trying from memory. That's why I put 'IIRC' (if I remember correctly) up there. I think my mind tries to make the scenes work where the editing didn't. LOL! I thought they were just trying to bring the naquadah back with them for use in reactors not for blowing the facility up.

And D&C just didn't work for me at all, so I try and forget about that one. *g*

I thnk was only way they could divide everyone up but it still makes no sense; everyone should have left the ship cause the bombs were set but then when you have Divide and Conquer following in which you need to think two of these people were taken over then how do you divide the group. Send sam and jack running around ship for no reason; cause everyone knew about the timers; even daniel did.

They should have just figured another way for sam and jack to be compromised then the way they did cause makes no sense.

I watch the scenes and its like sam keeps calling arm band naquadah and i yell at the screen its an armband not naquadah why do you call it that.

It makes no sense.

I considered that, but if you look, it really looks like she's picking up a backpack strap... I dunno. I guess it will remain one of life's great mysteries.
