I'm going to be Mrs. Darling!!

Some of you know I've been doing a local Nutcracker production for the last three years as one of the Party Adults. It's loads of fun and the people are super great. The place where I do this also does a spring show every year. Camille (the director), usually asks all the men (the husbands) back for that show to do the manly roles. During a lull in the rehearsal today, I asked my "husband" if he knew what the spring show was going to be. He said Peter Pan. I thought that sounded like fun and we started joking that I could be the comely bar-wench on board Captain Hooks ship. I decided to ask Camille if there were going to be auditions cos it would be fun. She said that they don't really do auditions, they usually just ask people to come back. And she wanted to ask me if I wanted to be Mrs. Darling! Of course I said Yes!! This is going to be so much fun!! And, apparently, my Nutcracker husband is going to be Mr. Darling! I can't wait!!
