Do you ever get worried?
Jul. 7th, 2007 05:41 pmSo, you know those communities like
fanficrants and
iconrants and
ugly_icons? Do you ever worry about going there and coming across something you wrote/made? I mean, they're fun and entertaining and all. I'm just so worried that one day, something of mine will show up there. How awful would that be? Or at like
customers_suck and I'll be a bad customer one day.
Does anyone else worry about these things or is it just me?

Date: 2007-07-08 06:44 am (UTC)So much of that is all a matter of taste, too. I tend to dislike a lot of icons that everyone else loves, and I tend to dislike trends in icon art (like, for instance, cropping out a bit of someone's face and making an icon of just a chin or a nose or one eyeball--ew!!!!!! *g*), but 99.99% of all people on LJ seem to like these icons and use them, so I tend to think it's that I have no taste or appreciate for the art of it. *g* That's probably true. So I just use the icons that I like and don't mention ones I dislike.
Although I have to say that there was one icon on my flist that I've blocked so I never have to see it. I'm not offended by it, I just hate it. *g* (I have an extreme dislike of puppets. *g*)
I could be a sucky customer. Some of my librarian friends tell stories of stupid patrons, and I always think that could probably be me. *g*
I think one thing I most worry about is having a story I've written ripped to shreads--not at one of these communities that are about the snark, but just...by anyone. LOL This is why I'm too afraid to post anything I write, for the most part. hehe
