I love Doctor Who
May. 2nd, 2008 10:06 pmAnd Donna. Ya know why? Cos it's nice to have a companion that's no all googly-eyed over the Doctor. I mean, yeah, I'd probably go all googly-eyed over him, but it's kind of like been there, done that. So it's cool to have Donna be there as someone who isn't afraid to just speak her mind and keep him in check. So, yay Donna! :-D

Date: 2008-05-03 04:12 am (UTC)It's so nice to have someone put The Doctor in his place and take him down a peg or two. Yes he's the most brilliant man in the universe but he's not without his flaws. He's not perfect. He makes mistakes. It's nice to see/hear someone call him out on it occassionally.
I was really worried when I heard Donna was coming back. I found her to be a bit of a harpie in the her xmas ep. I've been pleased by how enjoyable I've found her during S4.

Date: 2008-05-03 06:50 pm (UTC)Yeah, I like Donna, too. She reminds me a LOT of Sarah Jane, though. A LOT. Like, they would have liked having Sarah Jane back, but decided that, since Sarah Jane was fabulous enough to warrant her own show (which I ALSO like very much), a new Sarah Jane-type on Dr Who would be smashing, too.
Yup, I'm very happy with Dr Who and Sarah Jane these days!
