I really enjoyed it. Lots of pretty tech, fast technobabble, cool space stuff and our own Laurel & Hardy. You are right, the best was the "sun" exploding in the Gateroom, but I also loved the camera panning from one area of Atlantis to another...on the outside.
This episode was jam-packed. I can't wait for the 2nd part. Two weeks...arghhh!
Right in the middle of watching this, hubby looked at me and was like, "your internet friends are going to start writing porn about these two now too, aren't they?"
Actually, I really hope someone does, because it seems like PegB is the only stuff out there.
I hate two parters. And I still want to smack Keller even though I like the actress. She's giving me Wesley Crusher vibes.
Oh, yes. There must be Daniel/Rodney porn. They're too awesome not to slash together. LOL
Now, that you say that, she does remind me of Wesley. The too young, too good kind of vibe. Though I must be the only one intrigued by the Ronon/Keller/Rodney triangle. It could make for some serious LOLs.
Later, I went down to take care of my neighbor's cat and caught the 2nd half of the show, on its repeat, on their humongous high def. TV. I got to see the sun blow up all over again.
For those of you who have been on a tour of the Atlantis set, that's what watching the show on their TV was like. It was like I was there in the Gateroom with them.
