So, I just finished reading this absolutely LOVELY fic. So moving. It's a post-series Dean/Castiel's host thing. And it got me thinking - if the series is going where it all seems to be leading, and given what Kripke et al have done in the past, is there really any way for both Sam and Dean to survive the apocalypse/war thing without it seeming cheap? I kind of want(?) one of them to die. Granted, that will probably be the series finale. Which would be fine. I just, right now, I can't see a happy ending for either of them. And I'm not sure who should die, either....

Am I crazy?

I read this fiction last night, since it was posted in the latest SPN Newsletter, and, I LOVE it.

Good to know I`m not the only one *g*

Usually I run the other direction when I read anything Dean/Castiel in the summary, so I have no idea why I started reading.

this is something I can see happen, as sad as it might be.
And for Dean being the only one left, this almost broke me while reading. Because I know this is something Dean doesn`t want to happen. He´d give everything to keep his brother alive. He already did it once, and I`m sure he`d do it again.

It completely broke me down, too. It was so good.

I'm sure Dean would rather die again than lose Sammy. Hell, if he could bring them all back, I'm sure he would. Just not sure how that's going to be possible...
