I just got back from the dentist and saw the news. This is so sad. He was such a huge part of the show. This week's episode will definitely be bitter sweet.

Thoughts and condolences to his family and the cast and crew that loved him. You will be missed.

I don't think I will ever be able to explain how much I love this man.
SO MANY of the X-Files eps I love are his doing. When I saw he ws with SPN I couldn't stop doing my dorky happy dance of joy. This man was the shit! Everythign about the show's tone and feel was him (or a very large part of it). The eps he directed were hands down some of the best.

I just can't believe he's gone. I really feel like I could cry right now. I'm so sad.

And then I think how sad Jim and the boys and everyone who worked with him not to mention the X-File people..... :(

Yeah, I think about how sad I am about this. But then you think about everyone that actually worked with him and how much love there just seemed to be going around that set.... *sigh* It's just so sad.

I am just so sad at the moment. Just thinking how much loved and admired he is by the people he worked with and the fans. His presence will be sadly missed by so many.

Damn. I went to read an article at Canada.com and it said he'd been diagnosed with lung cancer last year so he stepped down from his duties on Supernatural. I was wondering where he went. :(

I guess he found out he was sick when they were filming the season premiere. So from then to now is not that long a time. It's so sad.
