This was pretty much what I expected. Guy action flick based on a video game. I've never played it, so I can't really say how it compares to that. There was kind of a cool twist (I thought) that had me going "Ooooo." And there was one sequence that was shot in that first person shooter perspective of the video game. That was pretty cool. And Karl got to be the hero. That was awesome. :-)
The Truth About Demons
This was very interesting. Kind of intense. We get a half-naked wet Karl for a good chunk of it. And then naked (but blurry) Karl for a bit, too. It's one of those movies where you're never really quite sure what's going on. Even at the end you're left with a sense of "What just happened?" It's interesting, though. If you can find it, it's not a bad hour and a half.
