When I first saw the tank I had two thoughts: 1.) It's like The Guild from Dune. I'm expecting floating blobs doped up on spice, but then that made me think about the Face of Boe, but with Jack all blown up I didn't want to think about only his head regenerating. 2.) I thought the 4-5-6 were tricking earthlings into building an execution chamber for criminals they were bringing. Or they were going to dump those kids in there that they nabbed at the beginning (Close Encounters didn't have anyone age, so it could happen).
For a while I was thinking, yeah, Lois could work as maybe an information gatherer, but she's not showing any signs of being phenomenal with computers and it's not anything that the others can already do on their own. But then she showed up with all this info, maps, contacts, and a whole freaking plan to break into a military compound! Yes, I want to keep her. Now I fear that RTD is purposely making us like her so he can kill her off. He's evil that way.
I took issue with the concrete breaking apart so easily. And it was oh so convenient that it broke around him and didn't tear him to bits, again. But you do have to cheer him standing tall and ready, and nekkid.
