Yeah, I agree with you. It wasn't enough that we got this weird explanation from Henry. Suddenly he runs into Wakefield and is told the truth and that's what turns him "whackjob"? No. It would not have explained Henry's behavior. If we'd had more of his childhood, it may have explained a few things. He apparently felt isolated and unloved--but those are feelings that would have explained JD, the so-called "black sheep", not Henry, and they don't make for a serial murderer. Not even after running into Wakefield as a teen. We should have been shown more of his childhood, even if it had been mere flashes.
