So Torchwood: Children of Earth starts airing tonight on BBC America. Having already seen it, I'm not sure if I want to watch it again. I do in one sense to give the channel the ratings in case there is a season 4. Then BBC America would be more likely to carry it. Sooner, rather than later, hopefully. Although, I don't know if I'm going to want to watch whatever season 4 might entail.

But I don't want to watch because I don't know if I can go through that again.

*sigh*

I just don't know.

I'm going through the same conundrum. So far my solution is to be tuned in but not actually watch it. I can turn the volume off and play on the computer. Also, if I do really want to watch it again I want to burn my d/l to disc so I can watch straight through.

Did you see BBC America is going to air Planet of the Dead this Sunday? They're going to be all caught up with the UK airings! I saw on IMDb that the next Doctor Who special isn't until mid-November. I want my fix, dammit.

That's what I was thinking, too. Have it on in the background, but be doing something else. Like working on the vid I didn't get anything done for this weekend. *headdesk*

I did see that! It's about time, too. It sucks that BBCA is so far behind on most of this stuff. And November?? I thought there was supposed to be one during the summer or late fall. That's awfully close to the Christmas Special airing. Seems a bit odd...

Yes, I originally thought it was supposed to be mid-August. I went to check this morning because I was sending a note to my mom about Planet of the Dead and was pretty shocked to see November 14 as the air date. On the plus side, I'm looking forward to seeing Timothy Dalton in his role.

If IMDb is to be believed the other airings are, of course, the December 25th special and then the last one will be on January 1st. So all three are going to be very close together. If you go to IMDb, be aware there are casting spoilers. Like whoa.

Try to find the original versions that aired in the UK if you can. They'll have to be edited down for US TV and the full version is really the best.

It's ok. Even though I haven't read a spoiler (and am aware I could go to a number of places to find out every last detail of the mini-series) I have read a few comments that weren't happy happy joy joy. :) So I was kind of already figuring some badness happened. We already lost Tosh and Owen.....and thats still makes me sad!
