I have a burst blood vessel in my left eye. Lovely. Never had one before, so I called my eye doc. Basically, just can't wear my contacts for the next week or so until it clears up. Except for the convention. I am not going without my contacts at the con. I'll try to remember to only wear them during the day for photo ops and stuff and take them out in the evening. They're OK. I think I actually look OK in them, but my eyes are so used to contacts now that my eyes get more irritated by the end of the day when I'm wearing my glasses. It's really bizarre.

Has anyone else had one? Can you use eye drops with a burst vessel? I'm concerned I may need them if my eyes just get way too red and irritated.

OMG! sorry mate.it´s horrible. I can uderstand you cos my left eye was a blood vessel last month. i hate my glasses! i always have contacts especially for gym

I've never had one, but I have a cousin who gets that fairly frequently. Her's always tend to heal nice and fast, so I hope yours does the same. :)

Oh poor baby! Got a manager at work who has a sty on her eye (she says it's like a pimple). So it could be worse...hope you feel better soon!!

((Hugs)) Sorry to hear about this babe!! Hopefully this will pass very quickly. I think you might want to ask the doctor if there's some solution that you can put in your eye if things gets too much.

She said there's really nothing they can do other than just wait it out. But if it starts getting too irritated I may call and just check that regular eye drops aren't harmful in any way.
