Yea, it makes sense Lex would be that kind of guy, so I think it really was that they just wanted Clark to start out as a very naive young man. That changes a lot later, of course, but *shrug* oh well. Glad you're liking it. :) I stopped when season eight started, but I suppose I'll have to catch up before Michael comes on...when is that anyway?
