I downloaded Google Chrome. I've been having some issues with Firefox. The latest update won't install and it keeps going in this vicious cycle of not installing, but then trying to open. So, yeah.

Anyway, it's interesting. Still trying to get used to the different layout. Not having a FILE toolbar is kinda weird. But, so far so good.

I liked Chrome ever since it was released, but Firefox's add-ons kept me from switching. Now that Chrome has extensions I'm using it more and more. It also doesn't use up as much memory, so more programs can run without issue.

Extensions I recommend: AdBlock, goo.gl URL shortener, Shareaholic, and Symtica. That last one is basically a drop down toolbar with links to all your Google pages. Very handy. I had an add-on in Firefox for one-click downloading YouTube videos but so far I can't find it on Chrome.

I downloaded Google Chrome to use at work because Firefox was just eating up all my memory.

It is pretty interesting though I agree, the layout takes time to get used to. And sometimes if a page takes a while to load, it seems to give up.

Yeah, that is the one thing that's keeping me from drooping Firefox entirely. There are a few add-ons I had that I can't find equivalents for. Namely Bulk Image Downloader (I think that will still work without the add-on) and Download Helper for youtube & stuff. So we'll see...

There are some things that do seem to load a bit slower (LJ for one interestingly). But so far it's not too bad.
