I love turning my friends into fangirls :-)

A few years back, I turned a friend of mine onto Stargate. She loved it. And now, she's going to come to her first convention!!! I guess all my raving about how fun they are finally sunk in and she'll be joining us at the Chicago Con. So, looks like I'll be booking two hotel rooms for everyone. Elephantgirl, this includes you and Elephantboy. If you want. ;-)

And now, I've introduced her to the fabulous world of SPN. We watched the pilot when she was over the other day and then I lent her my Season 1 DVDs. Which I'm sure she'll love. Hehe.

This is gonna be so much fun!!

Sometimes my brain is a really awesome place

So, I have this fanfic brewing. It's a Christian Kane/Jensen Ackles AU RPS thing. Like, major AU. Premise is basically Christian's a wandering musician, Jensen's a college/grad student, Christian plays at a bar and they fall in love. But DON'T live happily ever after. Anywho, while this was tumbling around, I was trying to think of songs for his setlist at the bar. And since it's just him solo, I was trying to think of songs that would be good as acoustic. There's a few of his songs, but I wanted like 6 to sort of round it out. Then I remembered back to the Seether/Breaking Benjamin/Three Days Grace show last year and how Adam from TDG did this really cool acoustic cover of Rooster from Alice in Chains (can be heard here on youtube). I wasn't quite sure if that would be quite up his alley, though. So, I went to his website and they have a pic of the day. Guess what it was? THIS. How awesome is that?!?! Seriously, my brain rocks!
