One simple answer: Murphy's Law

It always happens to me. I feel your pain, I really do.

On a tech note, it could be a driver issue or firmware update on the server. It's hard to pinpoint something like that. I'd also check the region code and make sure it hasn't gotten unchecked or changed by accident.

The laptop sounds like the motherboard might be trying to go bad on you (I've looked back on your other posts). When it rains it pours. *hugs*
