I think I posted a couple weeks ago that my Scrapbook migrated over to the new service and that it was awful. Well, that was just at first glance. I'm finally going through and trying to organize things as best I can. Which, considering I can't rearrange any of the galleries to make their order make sense, involves basically just renaming and selecting the album cover image.

Anyway, I'm noticing additional issues. For whatever reason, this new service does not support sub-galleries, which, I'm sorry, is pretty basic folder structure. Anywho, I'm noticing that in some galleries where all I had were subgalleries with images and no images actually stored in the parent gallery, all the images from the subgalleries have been moved to the parent gallery and the subgalleries are now empty. And the best part is that the images within that gallery have no apparent order. They're all just jumbled up and one big mess. AND YOU CAN'T RESORT OR MANAGE THE GALLERIES IN ADVANCED MANNER!!!!

LJ says this "management" issue should be fixed in the next day or two, so maybe then I'll be able to go in and actually sort things in a way that makes sense. Like, you know alphabetically or in date order. But, we'll see. I'm not holding out much hope.

I hate this new service. Why does LJ always seem to do this? They rollout these "updates" that aren't complete, so they take like 10 steps back and then have to go in and make all these programming changes to get back the basic functionality they took away from something that was working just fine.

Ugh.
