I'm still here
Sep. 12th, 2012 08:47 amHoly crap, this last week and a half has been nuts. Let me run it down for you:
Last week, my corworker was on vacation, so I had to cover for all the processing she does. To do that, I had to work from home every day to get started on time. Also last week, hubbby was sent to San Francisco for business, so it was just me and the little guy all week.
During that time, I also had to get my Blaine Big Bang finished. Which I did! Yay! \o/
Once my BBB was done, I decided to try and put together a video in the 10 hours I have free over the last 3 days to send to Creation for the SPN Chicago Con. I managed to do that, too! And it might be my favorite video I've ever made (it should be up here soon). brihana25, I go to burn the whole thing to DVD to send off. IT WON'T BURN. The program keeps stopping at 75% saying I pushed the abort button. NO I DIDN'T! Ugh. Finally get it burned to a file and then just use Roxio to burn the file to the disc. Go pop the disc in the DVD player to make sure it works and.... it doesn't. Sort of. It's like it doesn't like the menu it created, but when I tried to just exit out it ended up playing the video. Whatever. It's like 1:00 am at this point (seriously, not joking), so I go to bed.
Get up this morning after about 4 hours of sleep to shower while Martouf is still sleeping and come down to try and get the disc burned in the hour before I have to leave for work. Open up my old, old, old pretty much obsolete video editing program and put together the DVD file for burning. Again, for some reason, I can't burn it directly to the disc. Burn it to file, use Roxio AND IT WORKS! FINALLY! OMG YAY.
Glee returns tomorrow!! Finally. SPN not til October. Boo.
