Definitely very interesting. Very cool concept, wonderfully written and directed and acted. Yeah, pretty much loved it! :-)

And I was RIGHT!! I had a feeling that the twist was going to be that the whole thing was one massive dream happening in Leonardo DiCaprio's mind. I was right! Ha! I'm never right! :-) And I'm fairly certain I am because, although we never saw what happened with the top, his children really gave it away. Supposedly, he was on the run for several years, but when he made it home, his kids were the same age he always remembered them as. If it was real, they should be several years older. And they're not. So, yeah. :-)

AH! Can I argue that?! Because I believe that he was in real life at the end! Who's to say that in his dreams he wasn't "aging" them? To think about what they'd look like now? And who's to say he hadn't seen current pictures of them? I'm pretty sure the grandparents would send him pictures and such of birthdays, etc.

I love that movie.

I think it is one of those films that people will never agree on I went to the cinema to see it and i am not sure what I think about the end

apparently as the end of the credits there's the sound of the top falling over (or so I've heard. I didn't stick around since I needed a break from that marathon of a movie).

But yes, the concept was very cool, although IMO there were a number of things that could've been cut out without having the story suffer.

This is probably going to be an agree to disagree kind of thing. But I love movies like that with open endings like that. They do make for great conversation.

Though, with the grandparents thing, it seemed to me that he was always moving around and didn't really have a permanent address. So how would they know where to send pictures? Hmm....

For sure. Which makes it much more interesting.

Hmm... We didn't watch the credits either so I cannot confirm or deny that. It would be interesting, though.

...email... ;)

No no, I'm not saying you're WRONG! I love discussing with other people whether or not it was a dream or not! Part of what makes me love this movie! (We agree about THAT! Yay!)

I did stay for the end (I usually do) but I don't recall if I heard the sound or not. Bah!
