What are your "go to" movies? You know. Those movies where you're flipping through the channels to see what's on and as soon as you see this movie you stop. No need to keep flipping, you are watching that movie.

For me, there are two: Rockstar and That Thing You Do.

Do we sense a theme? LOL For my husband, it's Apollo 13. What about you?

I have a serious addiction to 'Twister' and the first 2 mummy movies, I've seen all of them over a dozen times, I'm sure.

I actually just watched the 3rd one last night, didn't really measure up...

That Thing You Do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DKSJFKAFJAJKDFASFJSKGJLKGJFGJKL!!!!

My love for that movie knows no bounds!!!

My other, as bad as it truly is, is Armageddon. I can't get enough of near-destruction of the world and Bruce WIllis dying all heroically.

well, we watch a lot of movies again and again, on TV and DVD.

but if I´d just have to name one, it would be " Fried Green Tomatoes", that`s my all time favorite movie of all movies.

I guess hubby would not say no to "Twister" and "Armagedon"

I have so much love for That Thing You Do, it's ridiculous. The first "public" dance song at our wedding was "Dance With Me Tonight."

"What are you crazy? A man in a really nice camper wants to put our song on the radio! Give me a pen. I'm signing. You're signing. We're all signing!"

Oh, Steve.

True story -

In college, I had the room to myself one weekend when my roommate went home. I borrowed Ever After from a friend cos I had never seen it. I stayed up all night and ended up watching it like 3 times in a row cos it was that amazing.

Oxygen airs it ALL THE TIME. I watched it every time it was on my husband finally found a copy on DVD for me (that way it's commercial free. :D)

Don't feel too bad, I've never seen the Colin Firth version (and I was an English major in college!).

I know, it's like CRACK, that movie, and Dougray Scott... *drool*

I used to babysit my cousins every weekend and we'd watch The Princess Bride at least once every Saturday. I can recite the entire movie verbatim. Very sad, I know.

I've also never read that. I'm a shame to the English major, LMAO.

I tend to prefer British lit too. I also enjoy a lot of the older stuff (I'm LOVE Shakespeare and The Canterbury tales).

Any of the Mummy movies, anything Star Trek and Chronicles of Riddick and my all time favorite Gladiator. Even though Russell Crowe is a real dick in real life, he's still an awesome actor.
