OMGLEE. That was seriously everything Glee should be. Klaine and Hummelberry and Will not being a complete tool and actually DOING something.
Apparently, a lot happened between Will and Emma over the summer. I'm kind of excited to see how Emma has changed and how she's doing with the therapy and medication and everything.
And, way to go Glee, for like actually basing some stuff in reality. Julliard and Kurt and Rachel not being the only supertalented people in Ohio. And that may have been one of the funniest things that has ever happened on Glee. A whole room full of Kurts and Rachels. And Lindsay was actually not annoying! At least, not in the bad way. I think I could grow to like her character in small enough doses. :-)
I do kinda wish we got a slightly better reason for Blaine's transfer. I mean, it's a little shallow and his parents are really okay with that? I hope we get a little more explanation on that.
But, OMG. BLAINE DID THE CARLTON. HE ACTUALLY DID THE FUCKING CARLTON. That moment is getting rewatched about 10,000 times before next week. :-D
Seriously, go Mr. Schue for kicking Santana out. If she had stayed past next week I would have been side-eyeing him even harder than I do now. Like Emma said, he's finally a man of ACTION.
And, dammit, why the fuck did that have to cut Kurt's verse from You Can't Stop The Beat? I had a feeling they might, but BOO! Chris sounded fantastic!
OK. Back to the tumblr-fest!

I just rewatched all of season 2 over the last week after picking up the DVDs and DAMN I MISSED THIS SHOW!
This was seriously everything Glee should be. And after the rocky end of season 2 I was very happy to see them start off this strong. I hope they can keep it up.
Blaine is most adorable puppy ever and I just want to keep him and feed him ice cream and let him love his Kitty!Kurt cos they are the cutest thing ever.

Date: 2011-09-21 05:51 am (UTC)Anyway, LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the episode! Loved the Hummelberry, Wemma was meh, and adored the Klaine! Loved the hand-holding, the tackle-hug, and all the scenes Kurt and Blaine were in together!
I didn't expect a thoughtful reason for Blaine's transfer, this IS Glee after all!:) Maybe I'm easily amused/placated.

I haven't recently rewatched any episodes, but I have watched the Kurt and Blaine cut about 6 times in the past week. They were pretty much the best part of the show last season and while I think they were the best part of the episode last night, the rest of the episode seemed a little closer to being on the same level. FINALLY.
I want Darren Criss to keep making all of his faces. O.M.G. His smiley, I'm-here face when he shows up for the transfer was amazing. And I want him to dance with cheerleaders forever. And I want Finn to be jealous of his brother's boyfriend because he's all suave and then get over it because he remembers BLAINE IS AWESOME.
Okay, my love of Blaine is getting insane and I think I may have to actually officially induct him and Kurt into Em's Hall of Obsession.
I still need more Glee icons. I really need to actually look for them.

With what we know of them, his dad particularly, I'm kind of having a hard time believing they would accept the "I miss my boyfriend" as a valid excuse to sign off on his transfer. For just Klaine, I totally get it. They want to be happy like all their friends and be with the person they love. I don't know. Maybe that will be explained a little more?

And I hope they don't screw up the whole emma/mr shue thing...

Date: 2011-09-22 12:49 pm (UTC)I don't know. It's only the first episode. It's hard to say who's going to be the focus or not. To me, it seems like Kurt, Rachel, Finn and Quinn will probably get the most focus this season. They're the seniors, they got the most set-up in the premiere.
I guess we'll see....
