Firstly, all hail Casthulu. He is thusly christened this evening. Go and spread it to the masses.

Oh, Dean.

Oh, Sam.

Oh, Cas.

Oh, Baby.

Damn, there was A LOT in this episode. I'm not even sure where to start! LOL

Sam lying. Again. Will he ever learn? Just don't lie and Dean will be fine. And WTF is up with Lucifer?? I mean, he can't be telling the truth because if he was, the whole thing with Dean, Bobby and Cas wouldn't have happened because Sam wouldn't have been there. It's certainly an interesting story, though.

So, we now have Casthulu. I suppose the spoilers about Cas dying are somewhat true. Misha's still there but Cas is definitely not. It'll certainly be interesting to see what this does to all the creatures and angels and demons. Now that there really isn't a God, who the hell is in charge? Is Crowley still safe?

General shallow observations - everyone looked fantastic in this episode. Jensen actually looked his age and not all stupidly bulked up under those layers. That one sweater on Sam was a thing of beauty. Even Crowley was looking hot.

So, yeah. I'm actually rather looking forward to this season. For now...

See thing is I was going to quit if they killed Cas but if Misha is going to pop in as this new being I am no longer sure what my plans are


Maybe i can still hope that Sam is still in hell and the old Cas will save him and everything will be ok

If Casthulu should come to pass, as long as the Sam, Dean and Bobby storyline keeps going along the route it's going, I think I'll be okay. I will miss Misha for sure, but the show is about the boys and I think I could live with getting back to that.

OMG I know, I feel like I didn't even cover half of everything in my review!

I had a feeling that Sam would be lying. I think the Lucifer thing is part of his hallucinations due to the wall coming down. At least I hope so. Seems like Sam is going to have some trouble trying to figure out what's actually real and what isn't this season (although I hope not for the whole thing!).

Totally agree about the shallow end! Damn, they all looked so pretty :)

I'm pretty sure the Lucifer thing is part of the hallucination, but how? Was it Lucifer that Sam free without his soul and then maybe helped death shove it back in as torture? I'm really interested to see where that storyline goes for sure.

Man, Sammy's hair was glorious in this episode. I'm gonna need icons of him in that sweater, STAT. YUM. ;-)

How can he make a jumpsuit look hot? He did the same thing in Folsom Prison Blues. He makes the most ridiculous outfits look amazing. Damn you, Jensen! Why must you be so pretty? :-P

Hahaha Casthulu. I like this development! I like Cas and I'll miss him, and I'm not so sure he's actually dead-dead, or at least I would like for him not to be dead, because the idea of his whole arc resolving in such a manner is... not very satisfying. But I like watching Misha playing what is essentially another character entirely.

I agree. I really hope Cas is in there somewhere so he can redeem himself to Dean and all that. But it is going to be interesting to see what Misha does with this.
