So a lot of times I see posts and tweets or whatever by celebs about how awesome they feel after they workout and shit like that. I usually just roll my eyes at their insanity and move on. Cos seriously. Who actually enjoys working out?

Apparently me. Once I stopped and thought about it, that is.

See, the thing is, these people are usually tweeting about working out with their personal trainer or having just gone for a 10 mile run and nothing sounds worse to me than either of those things.

But after ballet class when I’m panting for breath and sweating like a motherfucker I do feel awesome.

Cos I love ballet and I just got to spend the last hour and a half doing something I love so it doesn’t feel like I’m “working out”.

We’ve had the last 2 weeks of class off because of spring break around here and I’ve just started feeling really shitty. I do have a cold and some other issues going on, but I was just starting to feel physically blech and run down. So, last night, I got up off my couch, went up to my bedroom, put on some exercise clothes, put my tunes on my Zen and just did whatever I wanted. And you know what? I feel awesome. I mean my cold’s not gone or anything, but I really can feel my body starting to feel more like itself.

I’m not sure what the point of this post really is other than to slap myself upside my head for being slightly hypocritical. And maybe if you’ve read this whole thing and you’re looking for motivation to do something yourself, maybe this can help. If going to the gym or for a run bores or intimidates you, those aren’t your only options. Just get up, start moving and find something you do like. :-)

That's my main problem, finding something I like to do. :|

Bummer that you haven't been feeling well. :(

If you have cable, check out the On Demand section. There are actually a lot of exercise programs available for free. Just, give something a try. :-)

I have satellite, but I assume we have an On Demand section. I'm not really sure.

There should be. Most pay TV services have some sort of On Demand section. There's often a button right on the remote with that title, or it's channel 0 or 1 on the TV.

I'll have to check the remote. I don't recall seeing a button like that, but I might've missed it. XD I do know Channel 1 is info on the satellite system though.

Thats why I love doing karate so much. Even though I'm panting like a dog, sweat dripping off the ends of my hair and I feel like I just ran a marathon, I sleep like the dead that night and feel great the next day. I just love karate!

Once you can find something you love, it really is amazing what you WANT to do. Like, I'm a little sore today from what I did yesterday, but I just want to go do it again! I wish I had a proper room I could dance in. There's hardly any room at all to really move in the bedroom. :-(
