Glee - Props & Nationals

Heh. I mean, I guess I have to imagine that they actually have physical contact because we don't get to see it on the show. Like, I try not to complain too much because, to be honest, every other couple is treated like second class citizens next to Finchel. But when you have Finchel, Brittana (and not just the Mercedes/Artie Brittana) and then Wemma, but no Tike or Klaine, sharing the celebratory kisses/sex, something is wrong. I was going to say something needs to change next year, but it won't cos they won't even be in the same damn state. So, *sigh*. I don't know.

OK, now that the griping is out of the way, I think I'll bullet point the rest. In most likely non-chronological order.

• The body swap shit was EPIC. I LOVED IT. I wish it could have gone on longer. Puck & Blaine were the best though. Then again, Mark ships Klaine harder than Darren does, I think. :-)
  
• Tina really does have a very lovely voice and I am eagerly looking forward to her multitude of solos next year.
  
• Kurt & Blaine as Snookie and The Situation was hilarious. Kurt makes a really pretty girl.
  
• I LOVE PUCK. Seriously. He made me cry so hard and, I'm going to quote someone from tumblr here: "back in 2009 when noah puckerman threw kurt hummel into a dumpster never did i ever think i would be feeling this for him right now." WORD. Seriously. He's amazing and Mark just KILLED that scene in the locker room.
  
• \o/ for Beiste! So glad she got up the courage to leave Cooter.
  
• The shout-out to Celozzi-Ettleson Chevrolet at Nationals. If you are not from Chicago, you do not understand. But for those of us that are, they could not have picked a more perfect sponsor. Honestly, I laughed so hard.
  
• I liked the Trebletones version of Edge of Glory. It could be I don't really like Lady Gaga so have no particular attachment to the song to begin with. But I really did like the arrangement they did of it.
  
• Paradise by the Dashboard Light was doooooooooooooope. Like, THAT is what show choir is about to me. Not just singing and dancing, but actually telling a story with all of that. Yes, the song probably helped a lot because it does have a very particular story to it. But still. That's what they need to do every week. Big props to Zach Woodlee for that one.
  
• THEY WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  
• Gee, you think, Unique is gonna transfer to McKinley for next year? I would be okay with that, I think. As much as I wasn't really a huge fan on Alex on The Glee Project, Wade/Unique is fucking awesome.

BTW, I am unspoiled for the finale beyond anything we saw in the preview. Which, speaking of the preview, BURT HUMMEL IS THE GREATEST FATHER EVER!!!

I'm not sure how I feel about Unique possibly transferring to McKinley, but yeah, I get that impression too. I'm kinda over that guy. :/

I mean, I was like 99.999999999999999999999% sure New Directions would win. Three years has been leading to this moment. If they didn't win, there would have been an uproar. But, it is still Glee. You never quite know what's they're gonna do.

My one concern with Unique moving to McKinley is ND becoming The Unique Show or something. Hopefully it won't, but it's a possibility.

They are the cutest couple ever. It's like the little moments like that show just how goofy and silly they can be together which I LOVE. Because that's me. I'm not the super serious kind of girl that's all drama drama drama. My husband and I are complete goofballs and I love getting to see Kurt have fun. Cos he hasn't been able to have a lot of fun.

That scene with Burt is going to KILL ME next week. If I'm not dead by then already....

The lack of Klaine was big problem, but loved the body-swapping. I thought it was going to go on for the whole ep. Too bad it didn't. Loved Puck and Finn as Kurt and Blaine. I also thought Blaine as Puck hot.

It kinda melded into one big ep for me. Looking forward to and fearing the finale at the same time.

There are times when I just really wish Glee wasn't on Fox and last night was one of those times. Not that I want Queer as Folk levels of sexing or anything, but it would be nice if we could have SOMETHING every once in a while.
