Fandoms Collide!

So, this was the weekend of fandom's colliding and I really hate what that makes my muse do to me. It's so annoying cos now I have another story that I have to write. In addition to the other 6 stories I still have to finish. Gah!
So, first off, Stargate "Origin." Holy shit. The Ori are totally creepy. OMG. This is gonna be so cool. And Michael Shanks really needs to think about doing period pieces given how HOT he looked in those leggings and stuff. I just love Vala more and more every week. Can she just stay on the show permanently please? Please? And I really do hope we haven't seen the last of the Arthurian stuff. I think they need to do something to help balance out the cheese factor of Merlin. That hat was a bit much.
And Atlantis. Ronan is really cool and so is Ford. Why couldn't they have done cool stuff with his character last season? But I'm really looking forward to seeing how things go for him this year. Weir is kinda starting to not annoy me so much this year. I know it's still early and that could all change. But so far, not so bad. How much do I love Rodney? He shot Ford. Go Rodney! And on a totally superficial note, how hot is the black uniform? Yummy!
OK. Now into the QAF/SG-1 cross-over weirdness. First, I am deeply saddened that next is the last episode ever. Why do I always find shows when they're ending? Grr! But, long live Netflix! Yay! Anyway, so Justin and wedding planning is so adorable. I love his thing with the golden gardenias. He's such a diva-princess. But, if I ever get that way planning my own wedding, please shoot me. And Brian and Michael are friends again. That makes me soooooooo happy. The world was just wrong and out of whack when those 2 were fighting. I love Brian/Justin and Michael/Ben. But I kinda feel like Brian/Michael is OTP. Now, I haven't seen all of the show, so I can't say for sure. But from what I have seen, those two better end up old queen in Miami or something.
I *heart* Drew and Emmett and it's so sad that they had to break-up. Even though I understand why. But it's so obvious that Drew really does like/love Emmett and wants to be with him, but he does need to get out and experience things for himself. And it was so brave of Emmett to let him go. Got a little choked up at that.
Now, Tad. Here's the thing. Tad is played by Ben Bass. Who guest starred on a Season 4 episode of Stargate ("The Curse" - one of my faves) as Steven Raynor, and ex-colleague of Daniel's. There's this thing in fandom that Steven and Daniel used to be a couple but Steven broke it off when Daniel started in with his weird cross-pollination of cultures theories. So, that's why Steven treats him like an ass. So, to see him suddenly making out with Ted was a little too much. Especially after the whole cabin thing. And now my mind is going all crazy and fandoms are colliding and my muse has decided that Brian is a Goa'uld and SG-1 has to go to Pittsburgh to investigate. And much craziness (and sex) ensues. And if you can follow that, 1000 bonus points and my friendship forever. :-D
And here ends the ramblings. I'm off to go assault my muse now. She needs a good kick in the ass. :-)
