So, I've decided Geocities sucks for free web hosting. Does anyone know of any good sites out there? I just don't have much or any spare cash right now for even a cheap upgrade. Ugh. This is so annoying... Or at least any image hosting sites that don't resize pics? I've made a couple wallpapers I want to share, but if like 1 person downloads/saves it, my site goes over its bandwidth and it's down for an hour. I currently use photobucket, snapfish and Yahoo, but they resize. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

This may be a totally dumby question here... but when you say resize, what do you mean? I've never noticed that images I save from other users from photobucket and other sites resizing. Yes, they will resize them for the sake of the browser, but if you click to save, it saves the original target file in it's original size. At least, that's been my experience. Even my own browser will do that to me on my own website.

I uploaded a wallpaper that was 1024x768 to my photobucket and it resized it to 768x576. The 800x600 size stayed the same, but not the larger one. Hmmm, I guess that's something, at least.

What are you looking for in a host exactly. I've got oodles of webspace, and I know friends with reseller accounts and even more webspace than I, I'm sure we could furnish you with something (free, of course)

I'm not really sure. First, I was just using it for my fanfic. But then when I started making wallpapers that I wanted to share, I used it for that. But since it's a free account, I have very very limited bandwidth. I dunno. I was just getting aggravated last night. sldkgfwsgoih

If you just want an image hosting site, you might try www.photojerk.com
I've never had any problems with it.
