VERY SERIOUS VIRUS WARNING

Please read this very carefully. It sounds like it could cause A LOT of trouble if your computer gets infect. Please feel free to pass this along to anyone you know.

It is called the Kama Sutra worm. It is propagated through emails sent to you with subject lines that include: The Best Videoclip Ever, Fw: SeX.mpg, Miss Lebanon 2006 and Fuckin Kama Sutra pics. It will also have an attachment.

Windows users who fall for this ruse wind up with an infected machine and disabled security software. Worse still, Kama Sutra is also programmed to overwrite files on Friday February 3, and the third day of every month thereafter. The worm overwrites DOC, XLS, MDB, MDE, PPT, PPS, ZIP, RAR, PDF, PSD and DMP files on all mounted drives.

If you receive an email like this please just delete it from your email. Do not attempt to open any of the attachments. If you do open the attachment, please contact the Help Desk immediately so that we can investigate the email to make sure that your computer is not infected. If it is we will do our best at cleaning it up.

And Microsoft suggested making sure your anti-virus program is updated and run before Friday. In case it's lurking on your computer already.

Just a note. You should never open any attachment from an email you are not familiar with. In fact, I avoid even opening the email when possible. (Outlook isn't very good with that part, but they at least have a block list.)
