So, no braces, actually

The braces did not go back on this morning. WHich I think is good. I'm not done with treatments or anything like that. But he's really pushng for me to get the corrective jaw surgery first which is the main cause of my problems. Sadly, insurance does not cover this. However, he did give me the name of a guy who may be able to do it free of charge as part of a teaching at the local county hospital. So, I'll have to go and get a consultation with him and see what he says. Hopefully, it will be good and he can do it. Cos I would love to be able to finaly be able to have my issues FIXED for good.

Yikes, jaw surgery! How long will you be down from that, it you go that route?

I believe the time they said was 6-8 weeks. Fun! If I do do it, I would try to wait until after the holidays since it's already September. But, we'll see...
