Ben was walking towards the comic book shop, ready to head out to lunch with Michael. It had been a tough morning at school and Ben was looking forward to a little quality time with his husband.
He paused in front of the window and watched as Michael finished up with some customers. As they left, he picked up a comic and continued reading. His lips were moving as he read, and Ben smiled at the little idiosyncrasy his husband had. Whenever he was caught up in a story, he would start to mouth the words, his face changing expression as if he was acting out each part.
Ben stared, fascinated by those lips, remembering how they felt against his skin. Just last night, had been a particularly hot evening. He wasn’t sure what it was that had caused their mood, but found Michael already excited when he walked in the house last evening. Hunter had gone to a friend’s house to study, so they were all alone for once. And they both intended to make the most of it.
It started right there in the living room with Michael slowly removing Ben’s jacket and kissing him slowly. That had always been one of Ben’s favorite pastimes – kissing Michael. From that very first kiss, he knew Michael was something special. He sometimes wished they were teenagers again so they could get away with spending hours necking on the couch.
After the jacket was removed, Michael led him over to the couch where Ben was pushed into the corner with Michael straddling his lap. His shirt was slowly unbuttoned, butterfly kisses placed on his skin as it was exposed inch by torturous inch. He let his head fall back onto the couch as felt Michael undo the top button on his jeans. He felt those soft lips skimming over his stomach and felt the muscles clench in response. A few more buttons undone and Michael was moving lower, mouthing Ben’s growing erection through the soft cotton of his boxers. How he wished he could feel those lips bare on his skin. It was just something else to hate that damned HIV for. But now was not the time to be thinking such things. Now was the time for concentrating on the tantalizing feelings his husband was creating in him.
Ben watched as Michael slowly crawled back up his body, retracing the path he had taken on the way down. Their lips met again in a heated kiss, teeth nipping at flesh and tongues battling for control. They had stayed on the couch for what seemed like hours, just kissing and touching. It wasn’t often they got to spend this amount of time alone together.
Ben was brought out of his reverie by the sound of the bell above the door as some entered. He decided he should go in and make his presence known. He walked in and smiled at Michael as he was helping his newest customer. The grin he got in return warmed his heart. After the customer was checked out, Ben pulled Michael into a deep kiss hello.
“Mm, what was that for?” Michael asked as they separated.
“No reason, really,” Ben replied. “I’ve just missed your lips today. They were so thoroughly enjoyable last evening.”
Michael blushed at Ben’s comment and leaned in for one more kiss.
“You ready for lunch?” he asked.
“Yeah, let’s go,” Ben replied.
