Web hosting?

I think it's time to find a new webhosting for my SG fics. Geocities just allows so little data transfer that if more than, like, 2 people are looking at a page, I'm over my bandwidth.

So, any ideas? Free is ideal. :-)

It can have a home at my place for free, if you just want it to link to. I pay for hosting, but I get a ton of bandwidth. I'm not using it all.

You can get a lot of bandwidth for < $8 a month, no ads or anything, if you want a whole site. I love these guys; they've been really good to me, so I plug them a lot. They have a very responsive help desk willing to answer stupid questions. Not that I ask stupid questions.

Hmm. I may have to look into that. $8 isn't that bad. And, yeah, it would be just for fics. I started the site before I found LJ and I kinda wanna keep it. :-)

Angelfire used to be pretty good, I don't know what their deal is nowadays but I'm sure they still have free options.

I use Freewebs and haven't had any trouble. I switch to them from Geocities, had the same trouble as you. http://www.freewebs.com/
