Life's Too Short

switch842So, it's over. I can hardly believe it, to be honest. It's been such a huge part of my life for the last 4 years and now, it is no more.
That said, it was a really fantastic episode. For me, I don't think it could have ended any other way. You know what I really loved about the ep, though? The music. It was just so perfect. And the CCR song was spot on. The only time they've ever not used original music and they couldn't have chosen anything better.
LOVED Cam going crazy. I probably would have done the same thing. I know some people didn't like it, but I felt that it was really in character. He's such a man of action that just sitting there and not being able to do anything had to have just been....nerve wracking for him.
I actually liked Sam in this episode. Yes, it was Super Sam To Save The Day! But still, it worked in this situation. And I liked when Vala came in and wanted to help. That was nice. I like Sam/Vala stuff. There should have been more of that. I'm thinking that was really Amanda playing the cello. It looked too good to be faking. But does anyone know for sure?
Daniel and Vala. *sigh* What can I say. I know not everyone loves Vala like some of us (me) do, but I was positively giddy when the got together. :-D I've heard people say that Daniel's rant was out of character, but I think if you look at it the right way, it's not. Cos what he's doing with that rant is protecting himself. He's been hurt so many times by people he loved (usually unintentionally) that it would be very difficult for him to get into another relationship. I think he really does care for Vala. But given Vala's character and her usual MOD, it's hard to know when she's being serious and when she's just playing. He's just protecting himself from her not being serious about it. Because to him this would be serious. So, anyway.
OK, what was with all the women still being pretty after 50 years and they guys all looking fugly? Seriously, Cam looked like shit. I really, really hope he doesn't look like that in 50 years. Is that really shallow? I don't really care. And why wasn't Daniel bald? Cassie said he would be bald? Continuity people! But, wait! This is the SG PTB I'm talking about. They don't know what continuity means! LOL.
OK, um, I think that's all. I might have more later. We'll see. :-)
