As in Thank Fuck It's Friday. Oh, dear lord. After the last two days dealing with MORONS at work and then having to deal with the MORONS at Creation today when I got home, I'm so very glad I can drink heavily today. And tomorrow as we have hubby's work summer picnic thing. There had better be alcohol, is all I'm saying.
So, here's what has pissed me off the most:
Back in March, I purchased tickets to the Creation Con this August in Chicago. After receiving my e-mail invoice, I notice our seat numbers are right next to the seat of this person that just, I can't be near. At all. It's just messy. So, in the beginning of April, I decide to e-mail Creation to see if there might be anything that can be done. I hear nothing. Granted, I did just use their somewhat generic ticket inquiry e-mail, but I figured I would start there. Beginning of May, I decide to send the message to Adam as I would like to get some kind of response. Later that same day, I get a reply saying that Leticia will be in contact with me shortly regarding this issue. Leticia is also copied on the e-mail. Again, I hear nothing. Beginning of June, I send a follow up to Leticia as I have not heard anything at all and just want to know if anything at all can be done. I'm not really expecting it, but I would just like confirmation.
So, today, the tickets come in the mail. They are the same seats that had originally been assigned. This means, apparently, that everyone ignored my e-mails. I call Leticia. Cos I want to know what the fuck is going on/happened. She says that once seats are assigned there is nothing they can do. Which I can understand now, being only a month from the convention. I ask why I never received any reply to e-mails going back so far (I think I told her March, even though it's really April, but whatever). Her response? "I never got any e-mails." BULL-FUCKING-SHIT. I know you did. Adam copied you on it. She offer to contact the other person as he is only 1 and we are 4. I politely ask that if she does do that, she not mention my name, as he has no reason to know about it. She says she can't do that. I say fine, we'll just leave it as it is. She calls back a few minutes later saying she got a hold of him and told him some made up story and he agreed to be moved. She then goes on to lecture me about how this was a one time thing and that next time we'll just have to be adults and deal with it. You know what? Fuck you. I was trying to be an adult. The thing I am FUCKING PISSED ABOUT is that my e-mails were ignored. If I had been told this back in April/May, I'm sure we could have figured something out. I was letting it go. Just one more thing to hate Creation about.
Why do I keep dealing with them. I keep saying I'm never gonna go again, but I do. I guess it really does help to have a monopoly on the market. Fuckers.
On a happy note, my season 10 DVDs finally came today. I'm off to watch deleted scenes....
