Holy freaking episode people. I cried. It was great. And now I have to go to bed so I have to watch the final ep tomorrow. Grr. Sometimes I hate being a fangirl. I get sucked in so easily....
I am such a dork I didn't realize until I read your post a few days ago that Torchwood had already ended the entire first series over in the UK, I thought it was just first coming out. But thanks to you (and I will love you forever for teaching me about torrents and clueing me in that I can watch it all like NOW) I found out that was not true and I spent that entire night watching all the episodes, they were so good. I am currently working my way through all the episodes of Doctor Who now, I just started the Last of the Time Lords, so that is the last episode. Is it safe to assume you have also watched all of them? That you basically know the back story and what not for Jack?
I really like him, I respect the fact that he makes the choices that no one else can make, and even though it might not seem like the best choice he lets the people make their own mind up, like the older man who came on the plane. OMG I totally cried at that. But now I am dying to see the episodes with Spike from Buffy.
*sqees*! I know exactly what you mean! I watched the last 6 eps of Torchwood last night (hmmm, Capt Jack marathon :p ), and really enjoyed them - although there was some crying, laughing and yelling at the screen :p I like that the show often takes the more "human" approach rather than the "right" approach, that makes it so much more complex and unpredictable. (even if it means I don't like Owen so much right now :p )
