Holy freaking episode people. I cried. It was great. And now I have to go to bed so I have to watch the final ep tomorrow. Grr. Sometimes I hate being a fangirl. I get sucked in so easily....

I am such a dork I didn't realize until I read your post a few days ago that Torchwood had already ended the entire first series over in the UK, I thought it was just first coming out. But thanks to you (and I will love you forever for teaching me about torrents and clueing me in that I can watch it all like NOW) I found out that was not true and I spent that entire night watching all the episodes, they were so good. I am currently working my way through all the episodes of Doctor Who now, I just started the Last of the Time Lords, so that is the last episode. Is it safe to assume you have also watched all of them? That you basically know the back story and what not for Jack?

I really like him, I respect the fact that he makes the choices that no one else can make, and even though it might not seem like the best choice he lets the people make their own mind up, like the older man who came on the plane. OMG I totally cried at that. But now I am dying to see the episodes with Spike from Buffy.

I have not actually seen the Doctor Who episodes, but I plan on finding those this weekend. There's 4 or 5, right? I saw the first one he was in back in the first season of the newest incarnation (with Christoper Eccelstein).

And I'm glad I could help with the torrents. I have no idea how they work, but I really don't care. :-)

Captain Jack is in a total of 8 episodes actually. The last 5 in the first season and the last 3 in the third season. 109 the empty child, 110 the doctor dances, 111 boomtown, 112 bad wolf, 113 the parting of the ways, 311 utopia (this is the one that explains basically everything about him so IMO everyone needs to see this unless they are going to explain it all in Torchwood also it's the one that is new on SciFi this Friday night, however it kind of ends in a cliff hanger that makes you have to watch the next two also), 312 the sound of the drums and 313 the last of the time lords.

So far those are the only episodes of Doctor Who that I have watched however I like the show, not as much as Torchwood, but it's cute, so I am working on all 3 seasons.

So, is Captain Jack's "story" in this order:

Dr. Who series 1 eps
Torchwood
Dr. Who series 3 eps
??

Cos I finally finished Torchwood and it seems like it must continue somewhere. Unless that doesn't happen until Torchwood season 2.... ???

Sorry about the delay I have been having internet issues. Yeah that is the way it seems to go because you know how it seems to continue that is where is picks up again. but you don't have to have seen all of Torchwood to see the Doctor Who episodes. I assume they are going to cover it in S2 for the people who didn't obsess like me and stalk down all of the Doctor Who with him. Let me know what you think of the episodes. I dont get Dr who fans on my page really so you can put spoilers with no worries

No worries at all. Life happens. :-)

I'm just about to finish the season 1 eps (I was so happy to find that Netflix had them on instant view cos all the links online were BROKEN! Grr). Anywho, I do remember bits and pieces of them from when SciFi aired them last year-ish. So far, so good. I'll prob watch the season 3 eps tomorrow. I caught a preview for the Utopia episode and it looked good. So, I'm rather excited for it! :-)
