It keeps closing on me as I'm going to save something. Just now, I made 4 icons for an icontest. I finally FINALLY got one to where I wanted it to be. I go to save. I'm in save mode, getting to the folder where I need to save it. And BAM! Gone. Closed. All that work lost. And I hadn't saved any of the stuff I have made. I know. My bad for that. But still. WTF is up with that?? Hubby is gonna look at it when he gets back cos it is happening WAY too often for it to be a random glitch anymore. Stupid fucking photoshop!

Arrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhh!

Photoshop is such an invasive program on an OS, so something else has messed with it. It can be something as simple as installing a game or a minor piece of software, or it could be other open programs eating up RAM. The only two solutions I know of are uninstalling and reinstalling, or turning your computer back with a system restore, back to a point before PS starting messing up.

*crosses fingers that hubby can fix it without any trouble* :)

Well, it's been messing up since January, now that I think about it. System restore to that point would SUCK. I guess I'll try only having PS open when I do stuff and see if that helps....

Yeah, it'd suck alright. But it's why I keep copies of all my digital installs just in case I have to perform a do-over. Sometimes one of them just screws so badly with the system or another program that it's impossible to make them both behave together. *sighs* I hope yours is a simple matter of not enough RAM. :)

Ouch, I had photoshop start doing that to me once. The funny thing is that it was to the point that you could barely save anything because it would crash every time you saved. I don't recall what the problem turned out to be with mine, but I hope yours is easily fixable. *crosses fingers*

I hope it's fixable, too. Maybe just uninstall and reinstall or something....
