I decided I needed a Muse icon. Cos they just kick so much ass. It's snurchable if anyone wants it, too. I got their Blackholes & Revelations CD a few weeks ago. CANNOT STOP LISTENING TO IT. It's amazing. And every time I hear track 5 start (whose name I cannot remember right now), I think they're gonna bust out Elvis Presley's "Fools Rush In." Cos the piano totally sounds like it. Very strange. But awesome. :-)

Hmmm... Can't quite decide what I feel about Muse. Sometimes I hear a song of theirs and quite like it, other time I just get reverse=snobbish and think 'middle class t*****s'...

They do seem to be the kind of band where you either love 'em or hate 'em. Meh. To each his own! :-)

Someone on the Keane Forum was asked "How would you describe Muse?" as they are a very hard band to "pigeonhole".....she had a go and gave what I think is the best description of them so far....

"if you put Radiohead, Queen, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff in a bucket and stirred it around, what came out would probably sound a bit like Muse."

Yes!! That's it! They are all that. Someone in the group has to have classic musical training. Cos the arrangements on some of the songs are completely outrageous!
