Is Buffy worth it?
Feb. 9th, 2008 03:19 pmSo, I'm contemplating adding the Buffy TV show to my Netflix queue. I was sort of interested in it way back when, and then I kept hearing things about it, but it was too late to get into it. And then after seeing him as Captain JackJohn I've decided that James Marsters is all kinds of sexy. So, oh, great f-list, should I?
ETA: Got 'em all! I knew I could count on you guys!! :-D

Date: 2008-02-10 05:56 pm (UTC)Before seeing Buffy, check out the movie on which it was based. It's also funny, but very different. It gives you a little of her back story since the series starts after the movie.

Date: 2008-02-10 06:42 pm (UTC)I avoided the show for most of the first season for the same reason as you, but a friend insisted I check it out. Have we mentioned the excellent cast? Almost everyone on the show has a very active career.
There are some very interesting surprises for you, too. I won't spoil you but:
1)The show where Xander was split in two.
2)The episode where all the adults act like teenagers. LOL. The fun in that episode goes on. ;)
3) The Troll episode (Are you an "ER" fan?)
4) Dracula comes to town. Get out!
I'm laughing just thinking about these shows. :-D
