Did anyone else notice... the distinct lack of Scottish accent from Beckett in that "What took you guys so long?" scene? What's that about? Hmm?? My theory - he's a replicator! And they couldn't replicate accents. Just the person, so, no Scottish.
I was thinking the same thing, "Did he not have an accent?" But I dismissed it as just being one soundbite.
I never thought when they brought Paul back that it would be as Carson Carson. Especially with this Weir replicator storyline.
But since we're on a Stargate note: any chance you'll be going to the Chicago con in August? Ang and I are thinking about going now that they've announced Browder.
Yeah, I highly doubt it's Carson Carson. And the replicator thing is just so obvious now.
I'll probably either do a couple day passes or just the preferred pass for Chicago. I'm going to do Burbank as my "big con" this year. I'm waiting for a few more guest announcements (wondering who that will even be with gatecon) before making any final decisions...
Yes do Burbank so we can con together this year!!! I most likely won't be doing Chicago this year because I can only afford one con and I also want to go home for a weekend in August to visit my mom because she won't make it out this year, due to her illness(es). :-(
If I know for sure that I'll be going and have the fundage when you buy your tix than sure why not! I'd love to have someone next to me to help heckle Michael with. (because in my happy little universe he's already signed on to be there....and he may already be signed I haven't checked the Creation website lately).

I noticed that too. But it's supposed to "really be Carson". Not a replicator, not previously ascended, and not from an alternate timeline. Of course this comes from Joe Mallozzi... so I take that with a grain of salt.
I've been clinging to a theory about this, that Michael has cloned him somehow and the one living in Atlantis and the one that died in the accident was the imposter. (Can you tell I've thought about this just a little bit? ;) Guess we'll find out soon enough.
That is a very interesting theory. Yeah, I tend to ignore most things Joe says. In fact, I ignore everything Joe says unless someone explicitly tells me what he says. LOL
