I know how you feel and I am sorry, it sucks I had just downloaded the first season of tw and had to replace my hard drive. If you can think of things you can't find let me know and I'll see what I have that you need.

Thank you. The thing I'm most pissed about is all my stuff that I had made. It's gone. Poof.

But, there is a very SLIM chance we might be able to get it back. My brother in law used to work at Best Buy and they had this program or something that they used to recover things from reformatted hard drives. So, keep your fingers crossed!!

Oh no! Did you make a backup before you rebuilt your drive? I'd be devastated if I lost my vids. I thoroughly recommend getting yourself one of those external hard drives. I have a 500GB Western Digital MyBook and I have all my vids and downloaded shows and photos of my baby saved on it. Won't save me in the event of a house fire, but should cover computer failure. Not much help to you now, I know, but might prevent future heartache. (((HUGS)))

I did. But apparently, I didn't grab the right folder cos there's about 5 different music folders in Windows. *sigh* So, it is partly my fucking fault for being an idiot and not double checking. Ugh. This just sucks all around....

Oh, bummer, that's horrid. My music and vids aren't on the hard drive that my operating system is on, so I can rebuild without disturbing those files, but it's annoying when programmes go dumping stuff in My Documents where it's kinda hidden. I'm forever chasing it around and moving it to my D:Drive.

If you have any music you lost and can't get back, let me know. I have Usenet access until end of June and can always burn a CD if there's a lot of files.
