I had my mom and dad over for brunch for Mother's Day. My husband was out of town this weekend so it was just the three of us. First time I've had people over for a real meal. And I did it!! Sort of. There was a little hiccup with this egg thing I was making. The potatoes took a little longer to cook than they should have. But it worked out OK cos we ended up having the little pancakes and bacon first. Then a little bit later the egg & potato dish was done. So, it all worked out in the end. And I made profiteroles for dessert. Those were waaaaaaaaaaay yummy. So overall, I would say a success! Yay!!

They're these little pastry things. Like they turn into almost empty shells. Kinda like eclairs but smaller and crispier. Then I made a chocolate icing for on top and you cut them in half length-wise and spoon ice cream into it. Soooooooooo yummy...
