So, yeah. After these two eps, I'm fairly excited about the news of Moffat taking over the reigns next season. Apparently, my husband figured everything out way before me. But I don't care. This was all a very interesting series of events.

One thing I like about Who (especially this season) are all the little hints and clues we get about "the future" from various things. The Ood commenting that his song was coming to and end. This relationship with River (and how much is everyone else thinking Firefly right now?). What does this mean? Is this the last season for Tennant? I hope not. And things he's been saying lead me to think not. But maybe he's saying them to throw people off. And Jack coming back at the end of the season kinda hints at some big catastrophe. But how big? I wanna know!!

SPOILERS FOR SILENCE IN THE LIBRARY AND FOREST OF THE DEAD (and other possible future eps...)

And on a side note, we just watched several funnel clouds form over our house. Luckily, they didn't form til they were a couple towns away. By where my mom's cousin lives. Oy. But it looks like the worst is past us now. Still a little spooky though...

That ep was f*****g brilliant. How did she know that? Why did he tell her? Who is she?

That was it, that was the killer episode I have been waiting for this series. :DDDD I am on a total high right now. Confused, but high /:DDDD

I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!! Although, I swore at one point she would just say she was a reincarnation of Rose or something... LOL

He killed me with that story line. Both the Doctor and Donna had brief encounters that turned out to mean the world to them and they were both left heartbroken, yet better people. Amazing and brilliant.

And now I've had this very brief thought creep into my head. What if the "special relationship" the Doctor had/will have with River is only because he knew what would eventually become of her? He already determined that the reason he gave her the screwdriver was because it would save her. What if the only reason he told her his real name was because he knew she would say it to him to get him to trust her?

*Timey Wimey stuff make head go spin*

Oooooooo! That's a very interesting theory. Makes sense, though. Knowing what he knows and what he can/should do. Perhaps he did only go back and meet her so he and she would be able to help everyone at that point. Though, perhaps she ended up meaning more to him than he would have normally liked...

I like that they are referring to the history of the show, the Unit and that he once had children. I've seen some of those old episodes and it seemed, recently, as if the doctor had amnesia about his past.

Because of the reference, the Doctor seems more vulnerable and the stories are richer.

How about that crazy weather?!

I'm liking that we're getting some history, too. Especially since I haven't seen any of the old Who.

That weather was INSANE! Kinda scary, too...

It was absolutely brilliant, it totally got me jumping up and down like a fangirl. I do want to know what the 'only reason' the Doctor would give River his name is. Maybe they do become a married couple - I mean, he could't stand at an alter and say "I, Doctor, take thee..."

I thought Catherine Tate was brilliant too - she was brilliant when her 'children' vanished and the whole Donna/Lee storyline was very moving. I wonder if we'll be seeing Lee again? And as for Colin Salmon...that is one good looking man.

I think I heard that DT would be in the specials (or at least one special) next year but the Who team do like to try and keep things secret, so it could be a ruse to throw us off the scent! He's definately in the Xmas special at least. I thought that Ood comment about his song coming to an end had something to do with Rose - the 'Doomsday' theme was playing when they said it apparently, and I really do not think that Rose's return is going to be a happy one. I get a bad feeling that something's going to happen to her...maybe they meant his (River) song will come to an end?

I think it's been confirmed that there will be 4 Who specials next year. Why no season, still not sure...

I am also eagerly awaiting Rose's return. That should prove very interesting...

David Tennent is appearing in Hamlet on stage next year, working with Patrick Stewart. So, he is not available to film a complete series of Dr Who. Which is why we have the four specials next year and a complete series in 2010.

I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that DT will be in the next full series. I am also completely confused with what happened in the Silence in The Library...curse you Steven Moffat!

That's right! The Hamlet thing. And how amazing would that be to see? I need to move to England. *sigh*

I thought there would be three specials, but I'm probably wrong. Usually am! I think it's to allow David Tennant to play Hamlet, cause he'll be doing that for the rest of the year. Also, maybe they're worried about people getting DW fatigue...I wouldn't, but maybe some people would!
