Guess I never really noticed before. But now that I can't eat, it seems like every other commercial is for some kind of food or restaurant. :-P I want to eat!!

Awww poor Kerri!! (((HUGS))) I so couldn't do the whole not eating thing. But then again your jaw being rubber banded shut is a heck a lot better than my dentist appointment this morning. Turns out I may have a cracked root in the tooth that had a root canal done on it in March. How the hell you crack a root, I don't know. *sigh* Teeth suck sometimes......

A cracked root? Oh, ick! I don't even know how you would do that, either! Do you have to get another root canal done? How do they fix that?

Well my dentist said they could do another root canal or do a partial tooth extract or extract the whole tooth. I had to have the same thing done to the exact same tooth on the other side of my mouth. It's cause those are the teeth that get affected the most when I grind my teeth I suppose.

Ahh. Either way, it sounds very icky. Have you tried picking up a mouth guard thing from Walgreens or something?

Oh, I feel for you. I was starving after I had my tooth pulled. But it is kind of hard to eat when you have a new and still bleeding hole in your mouth. Maybe try cottage cheese or yogurt or is it too soon?

Can't get any solid food at all. Teeth are rubber banded completely shut. There's no way anything that's not liquid is getting past there! I think I might have hubby get some chicken and/or beef broth to add to all the other liquids I'll be drinking... :-)

Oh, how... yummy. I certainly do not envy your menu right now. I hope you heal fast so you can quickly return to real food.

LOL. It's not been so bad, really. I have a nice variety of frozen yogurt, sherbert, juices. But oh, what I would give for a nice juicy burger. That is definitely the first thing on the menu!

I was supposed to have similar surgery a few years ago, but put mine off so I could pay for my daughter's braces. I feel for ya, tho as my most recent oral surgery still rendered me incapable of chewing food and so liquid diet it was. Carnation Instant Breakfast was my friend. *hugs*

I always notice that if I feel sick and can't bear to look at food. Speedy recovery, hun!

It's like the universe know what you can't have. And makes you want it even more.... :-P

I'm hungry just thinking about not being able to eat.

I think after a few weeks of no solid food, you won't be able to eat an entire burger. I bet you will have fun trying, though. =)

Oh, believe me, as soon as I can, I'm gonna start working "solid" food into my diet. So when I get the all clear, I can have that burger! LOL :-)
