Season 3

Just finished Buffy Season 3. And that's pretty much all I can say about it. I'm still puzzled and slightly frustrated over the fact that I can't get into the show like I thought I would. But, honestly. I just really don't care about Buffy. She is seriously the Mary Sue to end all Mary Sues. I mean, really who says shit like "I'm talking about my lover dying." No one talks like that. I couldn't help but roll my eyes at all that. Whatever. I don't know. We'll see what happens with next season and Angel. I have a feeling I might like Angel a little more...

IMHO, don't go into the show hoping for that. As the series goes on, it turns into a complete and utter trainwreck of epic proportions.

Yeah for some reason like you I never really got into both shows even though there were lots of people raving about them at the time.

I think the only episode I have seen from start to finish is the musical episode.

The first two seasons were pretty solid, I thought, but mid-S3 took a turn into WTF-land that quickly went on into want-to-stab-my-eyes-out bad through S4. S5 did pick back up a bit, but by that time I was so bitter about how bad things had gotten, I couldn't get into it all that much. I'd say try watching through S3; if by then you think it's taking a downward turn, skip S4 entirely and just read a summary somewhere, then go straight to S5.

Also, in regards to Buffy - she was definitely my least favorite character. IMHO, Spike and Giles were so much more awesome.

Spike and Giles are completely awesome. Have you heard about that Paris Hilton musical movie thing that's coming out? Anthony Stewart Head is in it. Didn't know he could sing.

And I'll keep that in mind for Angel...

It's called Repo: The Genetic Opera! The story behind it actually sounds kind of interesting. But it looks very vicious and bloody and well, it's a musical. Which is just odd....
