I had this completely bizzare Harry Potter/Daniel Radcliffe/Equus dream last night. I was like backstage at some show, like I was part of the production team. I think it was almost a stage version of Harry Potter cos I remember some of the other folks being there (Ron, Hermione, etc). And anyway, there's this older guy there, probably late 50s or so. Balding, gray hair, overweight. Generally just kind of blechy. Anyway, we get into this conversation about how Daniel is doing Equus and how I'm a perv for wanting to see Harry Potter naked, blah blah blah. And I clearly remember this conversation about me trying to explain that it's not Harry Potter doing Equus, it's Daniel. They are not one and the same. Daniel may play Harry Potter, but he is NOT Harry Potter. So, yeah. What the fuck is wrong with my brain?

*gg* I think that was a subconscious argument in your head, and the older fellow represented all those dicks who had a royal snit fit over Daniel showing up naked in Equus. :) They basically had a snit fit because they remember him *only* as an 11-year old Harry Potter and couldn't reconcile the fact that the boy was growing up into a fine young *man*.

And I don't think you're a perv. *gg* I have those pictures and they're artwork. He looks amazing in them. For, ya know, a just-barely-legal 17-year old (at that time, I believe). ;)

But the really odd thing is that I have no idea where it came from. I haven't seen anything Equus or Harry Potter related in months! Oy.

LOL You saw something that triggered it. It's always fun to figure out what it was. Perhaps you saw a commercial on TV for the running of the first three HP films on the Family channel?

LOL Well, something jogged the old noggin. And it was likely something related, like one of the older actors was in a film you glanced at or listed in a TV Guide... it could've been anything. Even a table lamp. :-p

Well if I was Freudian I'd say it had something to do with penis envy and your mother. But seeing as I am not and I am cognitive-behavioral therapist who dabbles in interpersonal introspection, I will have to go with the whole you saw something on TV or whatever and that triggered your thoughts about Daniel/Equss/Asshats who don't understand the difference between Harry Potter and Daniel Radcliffe. Weren't you watching the movies just a few weeks ago?
