It looks like JumpCon is basically closing its doors. The Boston event was just canceled and from the looks of the message on their front page, it looks like nothing else is gonna happen either...

Oh! And I finally got through to Dr. Horrible. Awesome. Awesome awesome awesome! This would be the coolest TV show ever! LOL

I tried looking at their website a while back. If they run their cons as badly as the website operates, then it's no wonder they are failing.

I feel sorry for the fans though. I'm sure that most of them will have no financial recourse.

Well, they did update their website just a few weeks ago so it looks nicer. But I have to say I'm not too surprised. I mean, they had like 40 guests lined up once upon a time for the con I was gonna go to. That's gotta take some serious fundage just to even get the stars "on hold" or whatever. A few things I've read sound like they really are trying to get people refunds, but it might not be everyone. And the actors are out money, too. You just don't treat talent like that. *sigh*

I would say that they really have some big issues.

Someone posted a link to the article below on GW, which was fascinating to read because it really explained why it failed.

That's interesting. After reading that and what happened with FedCon, as much as I/we complain about Creation, they're really not in any danger of shutting down like that...
