I remember before the season started there being all this hubub over the casting of this new female character - Captain Vega. We saw her briefly in the season premiere. And now they just kill her off? I'm confuzzled. What was all they hype about then??

I said exactly the same thing.. Maybe it was to make her death more of a shock since this ep was supposed to be creepy..
