So, Gateworld has the newest preview that SciFi released that reveals the enemy from First Contact. IT'S THE FREAKING ASGARD!!!! WTF is going on?!?!?!?!
I'm guessing these are asgard who are nothing like the asgard from our galaxy. These will be evil asgard. I like Daniel's reaction to the reveal in the clip. He was actually speechless.
I am waiting for big reveal as one of them as janus guessing ancients can play tricks and guessing janus does not want to reveal himself right away maybe thinking way to find out what rodney and daniel have learned. Think its a trick.

I don't know. I don't think that's it. I really think it's the Asgard. Granted, something must have happened to them. I imagine they were cut off from Thor and everyone at some point. And then they just lost it?
Millenia of copying themselves over and over and over again that leads them to a path of evil? If they really wanted to continue the Nordic mythos they could have gone with the Vanir, or even call them the Aesir or Jotuns. It's going to take a LOT of spin to explain this adequately to me.
Yeah. A LOT of explaining. Good explaining, too. But with Joe & Paul, who know what they'll do. And Gero wrote it. He's been kind of hit & miss with me recently. I guess we shall see....
ETA: And they could very well be the Vanir or Aesir or Jotuns. Cos they never say "Asgard" in the promo. It's just that one of them steps out of the suit and is an Asgard. Although from the little blurb GW has with the clip, I think it is just the Asgard.
Bloody hell!! Something this big will be exciting to see on the show. I love the fact that it is Daniel that the Asgard decides to reveal itself to. Good stuff!! How many days do we have to wait for this?
