I'm finally going to be seeking professional help for my shin splints. This last flare up has lasted just about 2 weeks. That's way too long. And I found a place not far from my house! Yay!! I'll be going today for a consultation and then they can most likely fit me in Friday with the massage therapist. *phew!* With all the Nutcracker stuff I have coming up and with how they've been behaving over the last year or so, I need something more than just rest.

ETA: Appointment went great. Xrays show no stress fractures, which is good. They did some electro-stimulation, which was very weird. But seems to be helping. I'll be going back on Friday for a massage and a little more work. Doc said to keep wrapping and icing and resting as much as possible. *fingers crossed*

Only so that I don't have read about how much pain you're in every other day for the remainder of the holiday season. ;-)

*MWA* have fun with your massage therapist. I could sure use one.

Oh and the managers at HD have finally realized I'll be leaving in a few weeks unless they hire me themselves and have taken it upon themselves to "take care of things". So yeah looks like I do have a job. Jury's still out on Burbank. I'll let you know by Halloween.
