Colin Cunningham could soon be known as Oscar Nominated Colin Cunningham. How awesome is that? I so need to get my hands on this film. I've been dying to see it and everyone who has seen it just keeps saying how amazing it is. One more week and I can own it! Yay!!

He showed the film at Gatecon in August. I was very impressed. It's like an intense episode of Twilight Zone. His performance in the lead role...well, he did not flinch, or hold back on portraying a really ugly personality.

I think the film will greatly promote both his acting and directing careers.

I hope so. It won 5 of the 7 Leos it was nominated for. It's really just doing so amazing.

I am crossing my fingers and toes for him. Not only he is a great actor but he such a sweet man too. So hopefully he and the film gets nominated.

I'd heard a lot about him, but didn't meet him until Gatecon. I got in a crowded elevator next to a lady with a huge dog. I petted the friendly dog, then said something to the lady, and wouldn't you know Colin Cunninham was with her and we had a short conversation.

Then I saw him at the GW dinner where he sat next to Arctic Goddess and entertained people with magic tricks. Later, he walked over to the volunteer dinner (arm in arm)with Tsaxlady and me. He talked about getting back to playing the sax again.

I was trying to organize a future concert. :-)

I think he is very smart, talented, affable and well balanced.

He's a neat guy. Some of our view points are way out of wack with the other's (from things he has said on stage and off), so I don't know if he's the type of person I could be friends with, but he's still a neat guy. :)
