Well that was unexpected

My parents and brother are going down to Disney World for Christmas. Well, the week leading up to it, really. My hubby and I were going to go as, well, but it turns out his office is closed the week between Christmas and New Year since they're moving so that week before they're going to be hella busy trying to get as much stuff done as possible. I had been thinking about maybe just going down by myself, but I'm already off way too many days in December with Nutcracker and all that, so I thought maybe just the weekend and fly back late Monday. Then with Burbank and all that money was a little short. Plus, my car needed to get new brakes today. Suck! So, I had to call my mom and let her know that it just wasn't going to work out. :-( Which is sad, cos this would be the first year we weren't together on Christmas. Well, my mom just called back and said that she and dad would pay for my airfare. *shock* And my brother probably wouldn't make me pay for my half of the hotel. So, I would need to double check what the park admission ticket is and make sure I can get a flight.... Yeah. I might be going back to Disney World! :-)

Yeah. We've been a few times. It's not a bad way to spend away from the cold, cold snow in Chicago! LOL

I did Disneyland once with my mom, brother and sister when I was 16 (I think). It was fun, really enjoyed having the park to ourselves after about 10 pm because all the little kids and parents went to bed. So it was pretty cool. That and California in the winter is great. Sounds like you will be having tons of fun. Bring me back a souvenir! (j/k....though I really did like the little gifts from Hawaii ;-))

This is Disney World in Orlando. Been there so many times we don't need park maps anymore! LOL But, yeah, it's usually a good time.

I meant to say Florida, I really did. I think one of the other counselors at my site gifted me with his cold I'm feeling pretty under the weather today. I'm gonna go take some cold medicine and hope I feel better tomorrow.

HAHA, I just did a spell check on this and it questioned my spelling for Disney World and suggested "STONEWALLED"!???
